Sanvet!

Challenge: Design a e user flow for the registration process of pets in a veterinary website.

Solution: Introducing Sanvet!, a user-friendly veterinarian website designed to simplify the process of pet registration and management. With Sanvet!, users can effortlessly create personal accounts and register their pets, providing essential details such as breed, age, and name. This process enables efficient scheduling and offers better control over each pet's healthcare needs, ensuring that both pet owners and veterinarians can easily manage appointments and medical records.

Research and ideation

To develop Sanvet!, I began by researching common challenges faced by pet owners when visiting the vet, The main issues were time constraints and service inefficiencies. Through this research, I identified the target audience and created user personas. The primary persona consists of pet owners who require a quick and intuitive registration process due to their limited time and desire to avoid long waiting periods. This insight guided the development of Sanvet!, ensuring the platform is efficient enough for pet owners seeking veterinary service.

User flow Planning

The website needed to be intuitive, fast, and clear to prevent users from getting lost during the registration process. To achieve this, I designed a straightforward sitemap, ensuring simplicity and efficiency. This approach focused on streamlining processes and effectively guiding users through the registration.

Wireframing

I started by creating a logo, which served as the foundation for the design system which was later made to ensure a clear and consistent message across different size variations and pages. The wireframes were designed to align with this style, aiming for clarity and effective communication of information.

Usability study

In the usability study, users were tasked with creating an account and registering a pet to complete the user flow. The results revealed the following areas for improvement:

These findings highlighted the need for a more user-friendly login/register process and the inclusion of a logout feature to improve overall usability.

Refining the design

Upon identifying the issues, I focused on refining the registration process to make it more fluid and intuitive. I implemented design and graphic components to enhance usability, ensuring a smoother user experience and addressing the navigation challenges identified during the usability study.
